At Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene we are dedicated to telling the love of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible and providing hope to a hurting world. Everyone is welcome at our church. If you do not currently have a church home, we would like to invite you to come and give us a try. Watch the video below to find out more about who we are.

John Maxwell once said, "Our obligation as Christians doesn't stop with our own spiritual development, but our obligation is to begin to pour ourselves into someone else." That is evangelism! knocking on doors, handing out tracts, talking to strangers in line at the grocery store are all good ice breakers...but EVANGELISM is pouring ourselves into someone else and that takes time and investment. Will you join us Sunday evenings July 12th - August 23rd from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. as we explore the command from God to go and make disciples of all nations? Our summer evangelism emphasis is for the entire family and each week we will enjoy brief lessons, lively discussions, food, and fellowship.

Prayer Cells

We will be having weekly Prayer Cells every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. unless indicated otherwise. Please join us as we come together for a special time of prayer.

For VBS, Kim is asking the kids to bring non-perishable food. The church will be partnering with her and the kids to collect food for the month of July to deliver to the KM Crisis Ministries food pantry. We will be collecting the food donations at the tables in the hallway. The director at the KM Crisis Ministries said they are also in need of paper towels. There is a list of items that you can bring on the table in the hallway. Thank you in advance!

The Church of the Nazarene operates numerous primary schools around the world, providing quality education for children. Unfortunately, children around the world often do not have the supplies needed for school. In countries with economic challenges, families cannot afford to purchase supplies, or siblings are often required to share the supplies. In response to the need, Nazarene Missions International partnered with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. (NCM, Inc.) to provide School Pal-Paks.  Each School Pal-Pak, contained in a 1-gallon Ziploc slider-type bag, serves 2 students and contains the following items:

•  2 composition notebooks (soft bound, NOT spiral bound)  ***

•  1 hand-held pencil sharpener (NOT electric or battery-powered)   ***

•  1 package of 12-15 colored pencils   ***

•  1 package of 10-12 #2 pencils

•  2 pink erasers, 2-3 inches long

•  1 package of 10-12 black pens

•  1 pair blunt-nosed scissors

•  2 6-inch or 12-inch rulers (with metric measurements)

         {Items marked with “***” we are in greatest need of.}

Please bring the items to church and place in the basket in the main hallway.  Any money placed in the offering, marked “School Pal-Paks”, will be used to purchase supplies or pay for the $10 per box shipping and handling.  Please see Christi Cummings if you have any questions.
