Under God

At Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene we are dedicated to telling the love of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible and providing hope to a hurting world. Everyone is welcome at our church. If you do not currently have a church home, we would like to invite you to come and give us a try. Watch the video below to find out more about who we are.
You can find your place at Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene!
Come Belong...Find Hope

During the summer months we will be scaling back our Life Groups. Beginning on June 1st and lasting until August 31st we will be focusing mainly on fellowship on Sunday nights. We will have a 20-30 minute devotion led by one of our four pastors and then have finger foods and games to encourage a time of fellowship. We will continue offering one Life Group on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. and a few Life Groups on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Visit our Life Groups page to find out which classes are currently being offered.

We invite you to support our NC District Nazarene Evangelist Scott Ferguson at his revival at Ragan Wesleyan Church in Gastonia during the coming week.

Special Testimony Service ~ August 10th @ 6:00 p.m.

Come hear Kyle Delong's testimony as he shares how God delivered him and set him free from a life of drugs and alcohol on Sunday night, August 10th, at 6:00 p.m.

Cookbook Fundraiser

We are in the process of creating a church cookbook as a fundraiser with all of the proceeds going to our building fund. There is a basket of index cards in the church foyer for you to put your recipes on. There is a designated box in the church foyer for you turn your recipes in to. Please see Dawn York or Wanda Gsellman for more information.

The Church of the Nazarene operates numerous primary schools around the world, providing quality education for children. Unfortunately, children around the world often do not have the supplies needed for school. In countries with economic challenges, families cannot afford to purchase supplies, or siblings are often required to share the supplies. In response to the need, Nazarene Missions International partnered with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. (NCM, Inc.) to provide School Pal-Paks.  Each School Pal-Pak, contained in a 1-gallon Ziploc type bag, serves 2 students and contains the following items:

•  1 package of 10-12 #2 pencils ***

•  1 package of 10-12 black pens ***

•  1 package of 12-15 colored pencils  ***

•  1 pair blunt-nosed scissors   ***

•  1 hand-held pencil sharpener (NOT electric or battery-powered)

•  2 composition notebooks (soft bound, NOT spiral bound)

•  2 6-inch or 12-inch rulers (with metric measurements)

•  2 pink erasers, 2-3 inches long

         {Items marked with “***” we are in greatest need of.}

Please bring the items to church and place in the basket in the main hallway.  Any money placed in the offering, marked “School Pal-Paks”, will be used to purchase supplies or pay for the $10 per box shipping and handling.  Please see Christi Cummings if you have any questions.
