Under God

At Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene we are dedicated to telling the love of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible and providing hope to a hurting world. Everyone is welcome at our church. If you do not currently have a church home, we would like to invite you to come and give us a try. Watch the video below to find out more about who we are.

Come Belong...Find Hope

Baby Bottle Blessings
During the month of May, we will be collecting money for the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Cleveland County. There are baby bottles available in the foyer for you to take to fill with change or dollar bills throughout the month. See Dawn York for more information.

Friends Day - June 7th @ 10 a.m.
June 7, 2015 marks the six year anniversary of the day of our first service in our current worship center after meeting at the YMCA for three years. Join us as we celebrate all God has done and is going to do. Lunch will be provided following the morning service with games and activities for every member of your family. More information to come!

Please keep Kaylin Cummings and her team in your prayers as they prepare for their mission trip to Italy June 15-30  with Southern Nazarene University. We have prayer cards available for you to pick up in the church foyer or you can download it by clicking the picture of the card to the left. Thank you so much for the donations you gave during the love offering for Kaylin on March 15th. Thanks to your generosity, her trip is now paid for.

Prayer Cells

We will be having weekly Prayer Cells every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. unless indicated otherwise. Please join us as we come together for a special time of prayer.

Cookbook Fundraiser

We are in the process of creating a church cookbook as a fundraiser with all of the proceeds going to our building fund. There is a basket of index cards in the church foyer for you to put your recipes on. There is a designated box in the church foyer for you turn your recipes in to. Please see Dawn York or Wanda Gsellman for more information.

For the month of May, our Life Groups will be partnering with our Crisis Care Kits ministry to help with the collection of the items needed. See the full list of items needed for each kit below. If you are able to bring an item to each class, that would be greatly appreciated! Please put the items in the basket that is marked CCKs in the hallway. Each Sunday School class has a certain item to bring for the month. The list is as follows:

- Fran & Diann's class - toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz. ONLY)

- Col. Pollok's class - toothbrushes (Dollar Tree has a package of 5 with covers for $1)

- Angie's class - pocket-size package of facial tissue

We are collecting items to make Crisis Care Kits for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries to use in the US and around the world.

Needed items to complete each kit are:

  Medium size Shampoo (12-18 oz.)
•  Sturdy Hair Combs
•  Nail Clippers
•  Pocket-size Packages of Facial Tissue
•  Hand Towels
•  Medium Toothpaste (4.0-6.4 oz.)
•  Toothbrushes
•  Box of Band Aids (30 or more)
